Narendra Modi (17th Sept 1950, Vadnagar, Bombay State) is the present and 15th Prime Minister (PM) of Republic of India and is serving as PM since 26th May of 2014. Initiatives taken by PM Narendra Modi to encourage tourism in India included prioritizing and facilitating heritage hotels in India for which even the IHHA’s (Indian Heritage Hotel Association’s) President Maharaj Gaj Singh of Jodhpur showed his gratitude to Modi. So ambition of Modi is to make Indian economy reach a mark of 20 trillion $ in near future. This vision of Modi also seems grand as current economy of India is about 8 trillion $. In his Q&A session at Facbook headquarters in San Jose with Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerburg recently; Modi said that he thinks it is time that the world starts seeing India as heaven for investors. He wants to achieve the target of 20 trillion dollar economy by restoring the faith of investors in India that might have been lost. Modi said that “people with money are looking for places to invest and I present them with the address; that is India.”

Non renewable energy sources are not to be last forever. So sooner or later we will have to rely upon the renewable sources of energy. This fact resulted in the determination of the government as Modi shared his vision of being able to generate 175 Gigawatt of renewable energy by the year 2022. Modi actually has this vision crystal clear ahead of him as he said that this 175 GW of non renewable energy is divided into 100 GW from Solar, 60GW from Wind Energy, 10GW from Bio Energy and 5GW from Small Hydro Power.

Launched with a slogan of “Power to Empower”, through Digital India; Modi’s vision is to transform Indian country into a digitally empowered society and knowledge driven economy. This program’s emphasis can be understood as it is launched for the digital empowerment of citizens. Modi’s ambition through this is to provide governance and services on demand and make digital infrastructure as a core utility to every citizen.

The official start of the movement was on 2nd October of 2014 when PM Modi himself cleaned the road in Delhi. Modi’s ambition for clean India became quite popular and quite soon people and citizens from every sector of the society joined in the initiative.
