Hirithik Roshan was born on 10th of January 1974 to parents Rakesh Roshan and Pinky Roshan in Mumbai. He is 41 year old right now and give complex to even Hollywood stars from his looks and physique. It was kind of difficult to portray almost two opposite roles in the very first film but he smoothly played the double role in the movie. Not only did he brought justice to both the roles; his dance moves and the muscle were the talk of the B Town instantly. Fans embraced him instantly and we got a Casanova overnight. It was Hrithik actually who snatched the monopoly of body builder hero from Salman and Hrithik no doubt in many ways was even better. Not because we didn’t want to see him in a grey shade; it was because it was highly doubted that he would fit in the shoes of the very glamorous Indian supermodel turned actor John Abraham. But not only did he gave his 100% to the movie; his new look awarded him the title of the “sexiest man alive in India”. This movie was an official remake of the Hollywood movie Knight and Day starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz. And while the Hollywood’s original was unable to create any wonder collection wise; our Indian version, thanks to Hrithik, created a sizzle at the box office. The movie was a high octane action drama and Hrithik once again made people accept the magic of his charm. Though the movie was declared a semi hit; there was no doubt that Hrithik brought more heat to the silver screen as compared to Tom.

In this movie Hrithik portrayed the role of a mentally challenged kid who was a grown up physically but had a mind of a kid. This kid later meets an alien by sending signals mistakenly through his scientist father’s designed machine and that changes his life completely. It was a tough role and the way Hrithik played the role of a mentally handicapped boy Rohit was remarkable. The movie was the foundation for the super hero series Krrish and Hrithik was shown getting permanent super human qualities from his alien friend Jadoo in the movie which are then passed on to his son Krrish, making him a superhero.

This one was a Farhan Akhtar directorial and at least now we know what that guy is capable of. In this movie Hrithik played the role of a millionaire boy who is living an aimless life and only concerns on video games and does things that are either impressive to sound or his friends are doing. The movie proceeds when this boy not only gets an aim (lakshya) after joining Indian Army but also completes an important mission on the battleground. This movie was also important to Hrithik that even amongst the very talented actors like Om Puri, Boman Irani and Amitabh Bachchan; his presence was not only felt but was appraised for his acting skills.
4. Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011)

This was actually a coming of age comedy drama film that was centered on the lives and road trip of three friends and the incidents happening in their individual lives. In this Zoya Akhtar directorial; Hrithik played the role of a workaholic man Arjun who is obsessed with money and his work. Even though his personal life has faced traumatic incidents due to his obsession with work; he is not ready to quit on his life methods. But this bachelor trip with his best friends changes his vision about life and he not only begins to enjoy life more with the completion of the trip but also marries his love interest Laila (Katrina Kaif) in the end.
3. Agneepath (2012)

This revenge film was produced by Karan Johar and directed by Karna Malhotra. This movie was actually the homage by Karan Johar to his father’s production of the same name. Hrithik plays the strong character of Vijay Deenanath Chauhan who seeks revenge from Kancha (Snajay Dutt); who killed Vijay’s father many years ago. Hrithik’s intense acting along with Sanjay Dutt and Rishi Kapoor’s fierce roles make it one of the highest grossing Bollywood movies of all time. Hrithik even won the Filmfare award for the best actor in for his role in the movie.
2. Jodhaa Akbar (2008)

This movie was directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar and was an epic historical romantic drama that was centered on the love interest of Mughal Emperor Akbar and his wife Jodhaa. The title roles were played by Aishwarya Rai and Hrithik Roshan. The film however drew some controversy since Rajput clan of Rajasthan protested about the authenticity of the things shown in the movie. But nevertheless movie was a huge hit and was also critically acclaimed and won many domestic movie awards. But this movie didn’t stop at this as it also received the very prestigious audience award for best foreign language film at the Sao Paulo International Film Festival.

After Dhoom 2 and Jodhaa Akbar; this was another movie that took Hrithik and Aishwarya in the lead roles. The film is an emotional directorial of Sanjay Leela Bhansali where a quadriplegic magician who has been on bed for 13 years files a petition for euthanasia (mercy killing). After various twists and turns he has been rejected with the plea of euthanasia by the court. At the end of the movie; he realizes the love of his nurse towards him after she comes back to him giving divorce to her alcoholic husband and says goodbye to his friends and is shown laughing heartily at the end of the movie. The movie is heart touching and is the best acting delivery by Hrithik so far.
